It was a very nice day all in all. The POS extraction took a good hour and a half, but it was well worth it, and thanks for the cooperation of our victim we were able to sell it right away at a small discount (well, we shaved 100-200M off the price) without even having to haul it to high-sec ;)
I found the POS looking for a hauler in local, after finding its at a POS, scans told me forcefield was down so I proceeded to pop him (and try to ransom the pod). After realizing that I'm literally sitting on a billion ISK worth of floating assets in space up for grabs, I podded him in hopes he wouldn't realise that we're actually stealing the POS until it was too late. After calling for haulers, Mendes was the first to react , and Seth got invited as well to provide a dose of extra security. A few of their ships did warp in later, but they got promptly fried, and after a hour and a half of tedious (and paranoid) hauling and guarding, everything - the tower, the lab, silos, harvesting arrays, fuel, even the guns were safely in our station, and we could start negotiating.
Props to the POS owner for being very reasonable about it, and the "I'm playing sim city, you're playing doom." comment was priceless
The 266M each we got will help Mendes suicide a few more Huggins, I hear he lost his gatecamping one in Tama a bit later, but they got a extremely expensive Absolution kill and so on, so I guess it'll cover a good part of their losses. I expect he'll write about it tommorow

Yeah - we had some maneuvering around last night, but no fight actually happened... still waiting for my first action in this war.
Merchants of Mischief wardecced us again (they probably forgot to pay the fee), so now we have two wars going on at the same time.

No merc sightings as of yet, but it's not a suprise. Travel is nearly certain death through some places, and all hell literally broke loose in low-sec. I love faction warfare!

Kasade said shoot Borne, so I loaded Explosive missiles and did. First volley that hit him removed his shield, second removed his armor, and then I was like oooo crap warp out I forgot about the missiles still in the air. I tried to cloak but that nolonger means the missiles do no damage so boooooom hullshot. I never thought that eight cruise missiles was enough to kill a vexor.
Basically, Kasade dies yet again. What sort of Vexor fit can't take three volleys from a SB?
Anyway, drakes are not fail, just the ones without HAMs and 3 BCUs are
